Biography

Originally from Cleveland, Dana started her career at Cabaret Dada Improvisational Theater and The Second City Cleveland, before moving to Chicago and joining The Second City Touring Company, which was a blast. Dana has spent more than half her life as writer, performer and teacher.

Dana performed in one million fantastic shows such as The Armando Diaz Theatrical Experience and Hootenanny, Gravid Water Chicago, The Paper Machete, BabyMakers with Colleen Doyle, Faux Real with Megan Hovde, Bogata with Cecily Strong, Told, Virgin Daiquiri and Glass Basement, to name a few. 

Since moving to Los Angeles, Dana has written for Mystery Science Theater 3000, written, produced and starred in her independent pilot, Gumshoes, with Megan Hovde, and hosts an improvised podcast, Those Who Aunt with Colleen Doyle.

Dana has also done a great deal of agency and freelance copywriting for some pretty big clients like LEGO, Groupon, Home Chef, Big Lots, Gildan, and more. She loves to write, see?

I believe there’s no comedy without heart.

I’m all heart.

So, I guess that makes me all comedy.
